A program that has always been close to our hearts at ISI is the Yachad / Yad B'Yad program, sponsored by the National Jewish Council for the Disabled. Yachad is a wonderful project of mainstreaming special needs teens and young adults into Jewish community life, in organizational programs and camps, with special focus on the developmentally disabled. The Yachad / Yad B'Yad Israel trip is an integrated group of special needs participants and other teens who have chosen to share an Israel experience with them. ISI makes all the special arrangements necessary for this wonderful enterprise, providing joint and parallel programming so that all participants get the care they need and have a fantastic time in Israel. ISI brings together a very special Israel staff who have the love, sensitivity, talent and ability to make this program a jewel of Jewish responsibility and love of Israel in all ways.
