The Zamir Chorale Foundation sponsors a youth chorale called HaZamir, active in several cities on the East Coast. With a song in our hearts, we arranged an Israel tour for HaZamir, in which participants literally sang their way across the country, touring and giving concerts in community centers, camps, hotels, homes for the elderly and the IDF as well as impromptu appearances in street malls. ISI arranged for the group to have workshops with Israeli musicians and to perform a cantata for Tisha B'Av (written specially by ISI) for other youth tours. For these young singers, it was the experience of a lifetime!
