Before you arrive

One of the many features that make ISI programs so great is our team of specialists who work with you before, during, and after the program to design and implement a trip that meets your objectives, and help the memories not only last but continue to inspire. Here's how:

ISI plans and prepares your itinerary
Your program will be designed together with you and implemented by your Program Coordinator, one of the senior ISI educational directors. He or she is responsible for itinerary design, educational shaping, staff selection and training, creation of educational programs and materials, supervising reservations and technical arrangements - everything the group needs from arrival to departure. The Coordinator will also be in constant communication with you and your organization before, during, and after the program. The integration of all program needs under one coordinator who is sensitive to both educational and logistical concerns has been a proven formula for successful operations.

After a lengthy discovery process working with you to understand the special character of your group and your trip goals, ISI builds a draft itinerary complete with activities, educational units and themes, sites, overnights, and special projects (volunteer, encounters). After you approve the program, we quickly and efficiently put all your program elements into place, including your Israeli educational staff, reservations and other logistics, and your special activities and educational program.

ISI helps you to prepare your group
But our pre-trip preparations don't only happen in Israel. During the lead up to your program, ISI provides you with resources to prepare your participants and staff for their experience in Israel:

  • ISI provides you with tailor-made program units to use in your pre-trip preparation activities, from single meeting plans up to complete curriculum of a pre-trip preparation course.
  • Your ISI program coordinator and other senior educators are available to visit your community and meet with participants and their families before the trip.
  • ISI staff works with your staff members, in direct meetings and e-contact, to help them be ready to contribute to participants' enjoyment and growth during and after the program.
